I had been overseas for 5 years and had my furniture and valuables stored with my daughter at Robertson, NSW. My daughter told me she was selling her property, and I would have to find alternative storage arrangements quickly. I googled self-storage places and was lucky to alight upon Hepworth Self Storage at Moss Vale. Steve organised everything for me including the transport of my goods from Roberrtson. Got me the correct size container unit, including organising a lock. I cannot thank Steve enough for his courtesy, professionalism and attention to detail. Steve has now been integral in organising as painlessly as possible the transfer now of all my goods to where I am now living in South Australia. Thank you, Steve, and thank you Hepworth Self Storage. John Mann

Definitely don't recommend their service. Prices are through the roof and almost double the cost of other storage facilities. Went there because they are local but between the customer service and price I would suggest definitely going elsewhere.

I rented a garage unit from December 2023 to July 2024.
July 13, 2024 I noticed the entrace gate was unlocked. It remained unlocked through until at least July 31 when I moved out.
Later, Hepworth forwarded me an email dated July 11 which they claimed was notification of the security lapse. I had not received this email before. The email only said that the gate was mal-functioning and that to get access you need to call a supplied phone number(s). The email therefore implied that the gate was still locked.
During this period July 11 - July 31 the only security between all my household possessions and thieves was 1 padlock. The facility is in a quiet area of town and my unit was hidden from the road. Thieves could pull up in a small truck with the number plate covered against CCTV. They could use bolt cutters and empty my garage unit of all my posessions.
Hepworth did not notify me due to administrative error, but the notification email did not state that the gate was unlocked and continued to be unlocked for at least the next 3 weeks.
Hepworth did refund the unused portion of my rent but no more.
In an email correspondence, Hepworth admitted the situation was 'less than ideal'.Read more

When Jenni and I got married the result was a massive quantity of stuff that definitely stretched the limits of the house. Having capacious storage space such as Hepworth's provides made the whole business of dealing with the stuff much easier. The cost was comparable with other storage spaces, but these were much further away. The relationship with the managers has been uncontroversial and friendly and I'd certainly recommend them to anybody who has large volumes of stuff they need to accommodate for a while.

We have recently had goods in storage for 2.5 years with Hepworth Storage. Very well run, clean and tidy operation and at all times staff were courteous and helpful. Can thoroughly recommend. David L.

A local recommendation for a strong, trusted, and local storage facility as Hepworth Self Storage to me was a perfect choice and proved to be not only a reliable, and safe enterprise but overwhelmingly friendly and understanding to my needs and presented a clean and tidy, well cared for facility I knew I could trust with leaving my belongings there for as however long needed and that they would be there offering a cost effective positive result for me.
Not a hard decision to make and for me now to support with this review in Google....I happily recommend this small business to anyone and all looking for something local
