Just fantastic on price as well as their service and delivery.
Leader removals were more than accommodating when I had to relocate my sister from Canberra to the Gold Coast as she came into my full-time care following on from her diagnosis of stage 4B (terminal) endometrial cancer. My sister was not in a state to be able to deal with her relocation and so I took this on with the assistance from Leader Removals. It was primarily all the larger furniture items like bed, lounge, fridge, freezer, washing machine and dryer, several TVs and cabinets and a swathe of bookcases.
What we original envisioned was going to be moved changed a bit leading up to the initial move and Leader Removals reviewed what changed (some stuff came out and other stuff was added) and in the end decided it was cost neutral which was great. They just made the entire experience manageable and without stress (my sister had enough deal with so this engagement was ideal).
Leader arranged for the furniture to be put into storage for us whilst I initially relocated my sister and then arranged her new accommodations. Leader had her furniture in storage for about two months and billed us in advance monthly (so very flexible in their approach to storage (at a reasonable price)). Just on price Leader Removals didn't bill us for everything up front either and instead billed us for the services as we consumed them which made the financial impact less onerous. Initially we paid for the uplift of her furniture being picked up and going into storage and the first months lot of storage, then it was the additional months storage thereafter and then finally, once everything was in place for my sister they arranged for the move from Canberra to the Gold Coast. They called us in advance before the uplift occurred and gave updates as to when they expected to arrive and then on the day when they finally got here, and whilst they arrived early, again they were accommodating allowing me the time needed to tend to my sister's medical needs before I went to meet them.
Everything they took apart on the initial uplift they put back together for us as they moved everything into my sisters new accommodation. Nothing appears to be broken or marked and everything was well packaged, the lounges and everything were wrapped and well protected, all the handles, wheels and other bits for the goods being moved were safely included and not one thing went astray. They wiped everything down as they went and removed all the rubbish from the packaging and even helped me out with an additional bed which had to be put together and were happy to move items of furniture around until we settled on the best place for it all (as what we had originally envisioned didn't match the reality). As with the initial uplift the Leaders Removal team took their time and ensured everything was done with care.
A special callout to Frances in the office who I dealt with regarding the initial quote (noting the cost was half to a 3rd of what others had quoted us), for her pleasant dealings with me during all the subsequent changes I made to the inventory and for her follow-up and for coordinating everything with me to make this a painless process for both myself and my sister. I also need to give a special thanks to Corey also who was present for the uplift and the final delivery who was cheerful throughout and nothing was too much effort and he explained everything as he went and took the care to ensure the goods arrived as they left and much as I appreciate his flexibility on the delivery day.Read more

This is the second time I have used Leader removals for a local Canberra move...and they were great. On the day of the move the two removalists arrived on time and also sent us a message when they were on the way. They carefully and methodically packed the truck with all our worldly belongings...and reversed the process at our destination. Everything arrived intact, of course! The removalists were careful with the details - tucking away the lugs for adjusting shelves, checking which items needed to go and tightly packing everything in the truck. Moving is pretty stressful but having polite and careful movers makes everything easier. I'd definitely move with them again....but I think I'll stay put for a while first:)

Thank you Leader Removals for making my move so easy and - almost - pleasant. From the very first meeting when Francis came to quote to the last cleanup, I was well looked after! The crew were punctual, courteous and assuring me that everything is taken care of. And it was. Stress free experience. Strong communication and very straightforward onboarding process. Pick up in Canberra was on time and incident free. Storage of our removal was a convenient offering. We were able to schedule our delivery in Moss Vale when requested and the delivery was undertaken with professionalism and efficiency. Highly recommend.

Moving us the coast to Canberra was no small job but Leader Removals were wonderful. Fran and Linda guided us with the online quote and advised our self packing. The teams led by Sam and Izzy at both ends were efficient, polite careful and considerate of our needs. You could not ask for more. A professional operation i would happily recommend.

We cannot recommend this team highly enough. They did us a massive favour by collecting materials from Melbourne at very short notice and delivering them to Canberra within 24 hours. Their communication was excellent, they were reliable, and they handled everything with care and professionalism.
