9I was quoted 2–3 hours for my move (a small 2x2 apartment, all items pre-packed, boxed, and staged in the courtyard ready to go). Instead, I was forced to pay for 7.5 hours of labour + a 1-hour call-out fee (8.5 hours total) for a job that should never have taken anywhere near that long.
From the moment they arrived, it was obvious the job was going to drag — excessive standing around, constant talking instead of working, and zero sense of urgency. I even have photos and video screenshots of them standing around by the truck doing nothing.
At the new address, it somehow got worse. Despite me giving them a walkthrough and clear instructions on what went where, they kept putting items in the wrong rooms, ignored directions, and I ended up assembling my new bed myself while they continued to move at a snail’s pace. In almost an hour of unloading, only two items had come off the truck — I provided timestamped screenshots proving this.
To add insult to injury, items were not handled with care. My furniture was scratched, my cactus was damaged, and the single pull-out bed they “reassembled” literally fell apart because they didn’t reinstall the fixings. It is now broken and had to be thrown out — ironic, considering they advertise reassembly as part of their service.
The only time the pace picked up was when I started carrying items to the truck myself and placing them into their hands.
And the final kicker? Before they left, I raised my concerns and was told that they would not review the hours unless I paid the full amount first, which is an appalling and unethical practice. When I submitted a detailed complaint with photos and video evidence, the “resolution” offered was a laughable $100 “goodwill” refund.
For the stress, inefficiency, damage, and complete disregard for customer experience, this was an absolute rip-off.
I would never use this company again and strongly recommend choosing anyone else.Read more
Edit on 15/10/25: [Name removed by Sirelo] (a manager maybe?) called me and gave me a partial refund yesterday. He also requested that I remove all the bad reviews I have left. Since I haven’t removed them, he has called (see picture attached here) and texted me numerous times today and yesterday to check if I will do it. At this point it is harassment and will be reported to the police. Don’t hire these guys, they are the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt withRead more
Experiences. The guy on the phone when booking was great he makes you feel at ease way under quotes you then piles on extras at the end of the move . They sent out another team on the day from another company because the day before we spoke and already he tried to add on extras that he already had said in the quote I wouldn’t be charged for . I sent back the quote to prove what I was quoted . So some other guys got sent out . They took 8.5 hrs not 3 hrs like the guy said it would probably take . They also didn’t listen to anything I said . I moved 5 months earlier with more furniture and same size truck but for some reason these guys refused to listen to my suggestions and left my double garage full of furniture which I then had to try to to hire a trailor and help to get it out the next day so I wouldn’t loose my bond . It was so expensive , I’m a single mum and I’ve had some health issues do aren’t as strong as I was once . They knew this . They broke my son’s tv along with some plates out of a set and a lamp. The things they left at the old house were glass table tops and garage shelving units which had to be taken apart for me to then fit in a trailor . I still can’t put them together myself so my garage is full of things instead of neatly stacked . The move was only 35 min away , it went overc5 hrs longer than expected, they didn’t listen to me or look at the boxes which I had written on to show them where to put everything . It cost me a fortune and then about the same again to get the rest of the furniture and replace the tv . I didn’t have any money left . I had to borrow money for this .
Please don’t risk it .Read more
This is the absolute worst removalist company that you will ever come across.
Their abysmal working practices are both unethical and scandalous. We were quoted $3,000 dollars for an interstate move, and upon arrival, the rude and hostile driver, who told me to “shut up and forget about the woman at head office [who provided the quote]”, as the cost was now $6,000 because there was more furniture than the quote included. Out of thin air and his head, he informed me of a new cubic meter rate for the removals and then proceeded to contact the head office, having a protracted conversation in some Eastern European language that I did not understand, and then thrust the mobile towards me with the instruction “talk to him”. The other person informed me that the cost was now $6,000 and if I did not pay, then and there, they would not uplift the furniture. As we had to leave the property that evening (yes evening, even though we were promised a morning pick up), we had no choice but to pay. I think the word ‘extortion’ absolutely applies in this instance. Once paid, this same employee spent the first hour, having what sounded like an argument, again in a language I did not understand, leaning against the van, talking in an excessively raised tone.
He then approached me to tell me that a TV was broken off its fixed stand and that it was “already like that”. It is miraculous how when it was placed for uplift, the TV and stand was fully intact and, somehow damaged itself as he was loading it into the van.
Things continued to deteriorate, with him rolling his eyes, huffing a puffing like the big, bad wolf, when told that a small table and chairs and artwork, that was placed with the other items was meant for removal. When confronted about his attitude, his response was “just chill out, bro”.
Following deliver of the furniture, a four-page complaint letter was sent to the company, detailing these and other unacceptable, unethical and downright abusive behaviours. This companies ‘customer service’ department, responded (initially without identifying themselves), but ignoring multiple requests to include the Australian Furniture Removalist Association (AFRA), of which they are a member, into their responses, who were cc’d into the initial complaint. They also refused to give the contact details of any manager within the company, again, ignoring multiple requests for contact details.
The saga continued with the ‘customer service’ department being deliberately obstructive, requesting information and evidence that had already been provided, requesting more time for ‘investigation’, but when chased up, evidently no investigation had been conducted. One can only assume this is a tactic used by these people to tire out their customers in the hope that they will just give up. There was not even an apology for just loading expensive mattresses onto the van without shrink wrap or cover, resulting water damage to both from seepage from the fridge and freezer placed near them.
We are currently waiting on the result of the complaint made to the AFRA, prior to making reports to the Office of Fair Trading and the ACCC, if the outcome is not satisfactory.
Should the company, dispute, refute or otherwise claim that any part of this review is inaccurate, I am more than willing to post another review with the full four-page initial complaint, along photographs and the email trail, demonstrating the accuracy of my comments.
I would also suggest that you read some of the positive reviews that this company has posted. Different names, but surprisingly similar language, syntax and flow. Far be it from me to even think of suggesting that these are all made by the same person, using multiple accounts. Heavens forbid.
Do yourselves a great service, move on to the next removal company, as I have found that No Limits Removals, obviously show no limits as to the depths of poor service and dodgy working practices.Read more
* 3 hours late
* Didn't take the heaviest item
* Had to remind them at least 5 times that they still had to put more in
* They broke the gate at my new place
* They broke my freezer
* The lost the key to my 100 year old glory box
* They broke or lost a glass shelf for my cupboard.
They fixed the gate within 4 days which I was happy with .Then they compensated me $100 for everything else - and that's when they started hassling me to change my reviews! I told them if they sorted the fridge etc then I would remove the reviews.
They didn't sort anything else and were completely oblivious that I could write NEW one star reviews....
Stay away from these clowns, they made an already stressful time into something SO MUCH worse.
