Negative 5 Stars.

I booked this atrocious company three weeks in advance \. I provided full details of my three-bedroom apartment, including 36 stairs, and was quoted. I paid a deposit and received multiple confirmations of the booking date and time.

The day before the move, I was contacted and told the time needed to change due to “logistics.” After pressing for a clear explanation, it became obvious the real issue was that they had overbooked and did not have the staff available. I had already arranged cleaners and key returns around the confirmed time. I had no choice but to agree, which resulted in additional costs to move other services.

On the day of the move, the team did not arrive at the agreed time. I was told they were “on the way.” They were not. They were hours away completing another job. One hour after they were meant to be there, it was clear the booking had effectively been abandoned. The move was pushed to the following day.

The team arrived late again the next morning. After approximately five hours of work, I was told the price had miraculously become nearly three times the quoted amount. There was no written explanation and no transparent breakdown. When I questioned it, the team leader called someone and spoke in a language I do not understand, without involving me in the discussion. I was left with no meaningful opportunity to dispute the amount and was effectively required to pay before they would leave.

To add to this, my television was damaged.

The company has denied responsibility or their actions, and still operates believing that this is a way to treat another person, it is despicable. I have received excuse after excuse and each one more unrealistic and untrue as the last.

The pattern here is deeply concerning: confirmed bookings changed at the last minute due to internal issues, failure to attend as agreed, misleading statements about arrival times, significant price escalation without written transparency, payment taken under pressure, and constant stream of lies.

I am not someone who complains lightly, and I understand how challenging service industries can be. However, this was not a minor inconvenience. It was a stressful, costly, and poorly managed experience that fell well below reasonable expectations.

I have attempted over the last 2 months to come to a reasonable conclusion with these cretins but they have not gotten anywhere. I have requested recordings of our conversations but they have conveniently been lost due to 'system malfunctions'.

Appalling.

Proceed with extreme caution - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

When making this booking, I discussed all details with a staff member, including the steep driveway, and was advised to book two small 4‑tonne trucks, which we’ve had use the driveway previously without issues. I was quoted $1,600–$1,800 and told the move would take roughly half a day with two trucks and four men.

On the day of the move:

The removalists arrived 35 minutes late.
Both trucks were unmarked, larger than requested, and unable to access the driveway. The removalists said they were unaware of the driveway as they were only sub-contractors.
We had to negotiate with a neighbour to use their driveway for one truck and contact the council for approval to park the second truck on the street. Permission was not granted, and we were warned we could be fined. The removalists parked on the street anyway. This process took over 25 minutes.
One truck became stuck in a roadside ditch, requiring 15 minutes to resolve.
No items were loaded until 10:30am.
Because the wrong trucks were sent, loading took three times longer, as all items had to be carried down the steep driveway—at our cost due to hourly billing.

Damage and poor handling:

We witnessed our bedframe being slid along the bare metal truck base without blankets, causing scraping and dark marks.
The removalists forced our fridge through the front door, banged it against the frame, then photographed it claiming “pre‑existing damage.”
They took numerous breaks; before leaving the first property they sat in their van for a lunch break.
They left the first house 15 minutes before me but arrived at the new house one hour after me—1 hour and 15 minutes unaccounted for, which they attributed to another lunch break.
They left their coffee cups on my neighbour’s nature strip, which the neighbour picked up—littering.
At the second house, the trucks again couldn’t access the driveway, forcing all items to be carried the full length of it, tripling unloading time and cost.
Items were rushed inside with little care.
A piece of furniture damaged the front door, chipping and raising the wood.
Boxes were piled in the centre of the house regardless of labels, making it difficult to place furniture.
Garden items were placed inside, leaving dirt.
Boxes labelled “upstairs” were left downstairs and vice versa, leaving us to move them ourselves.
Our TV table was left upright on its side; our chest of drawers was left upside down.
Nine boxes were left upside down, including three clearly labelled “Fragile/Glassware.”
A fragile mirror was placed flat with three boxes stacked on top.
A sentimental beaded sculpture and pantry items that I had transported myself were crushed when a heavy box was placed on top.
A special canvas painting I had asked them to handle with care was placed on a box with two heavy boxes stacked on top, bending and damaging it.
Several plastic tubs were broken; we saw them drop and flip upside down one large container of garden items.
White furniture arrived with black handprints and marks, also left on the house walls and couch. The removalists did not wear gloves.
Packing tape was used across furniture drawers and the fridge, leaving sticky residue on everything that has been difficult to remove.
Although the fridge had been wrapped, it arrived dirty, sticky, and dented. That evening the freezer handle fell off; internal clips had snapped. I then noticed dried superglue smeared on the door, suggesting an attempted repair they did not disclose.

Payment and resolution:

They demanded $3,900—more than double the quoted price—including charging from 9am even though they started much later.
They stood over me while requesting payment, which felt intimidating.
The house was left in complete disarray with extensive damage, dirt, and misplaced items, leaving us with weeks of additional work.
I lodged a complaint, but two weeks later I still have no resolution.

Firstly let me say I have never experienced such a painful experience. I was taken advantage of and I have never been scammed until now.

The company only help you I think, if you are a male. From what what other customers have shared, they seem to take advantage of females.

They were very cunning from the get go. My dad had passed away and these guys made sure they said everything right to get me to use their company. I was in a very vulnerable state and they basically took me for everything.

I ended up giving this company thousands to move out, thousands to move in, and thousands for storage and they damaged my dining table and bed.
They were arrogant and very disrespectful and not a word of English from the guys who damaged my bed.
The guy on the phone was pure evil, [name redacted by Sirelo] I think he was. He spoke to me the day my dad passed and wanted a payment for the furniture in the warehouse.
I still can’t believe what this company put me through. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!Read more

DO NOT USE - I LOST HUNDRED OF DOLLARS DUE TO NO LIMITS REMOVALS
If I could give zero stars I would, this has been the worst experience I've ever had attempting to move.

I had booked an interstate move Brisbane to Sydney on 06/12 - No Limits said in the booking they would reach out to me a few days prior to confirm time of pickup. The day before pickup I hadn't received any contact so I called and asked, they said between 12-4pm pickup the following day and they would call 30mins before pickup.

The day of moving again I heard nothing, I called at 2pm to ask for an update and was told they'd contact the driver and provide me an update. I received a call back at 3pm telling me 'Oh the truck has broken down this morning it will have to be picked up tomorrow now.' When I explained that I was flying interstate that night and would have to cancel/rebook flights and lose hundreds of dollars the Customer Service operator told me to 'Leave the keys out for our removalists.' When I refused and mentioned that it was their booking contract that states I had to be present at pickup and delivery the operator started getting aggressive telling me 'Well it's impossible for me to book you a new truck on a Saturday afternoon - so it has to be tomorrow.' I asked for my deposit refunded and he said 'Well we are doing the pickup tomorrow so why would we give you the deposit back?'. Eventually after multiple times asking to be put through to a manager (And the operator refusing) he put me through to someone he who said was his manager. I explained that due to the breakdown I was losing hundreds of dollars having to rebook flights and that I was also going to have to take a day off work at my new job to be there for pickup (Pickup was originally booked for the Sunday). The Manager said the best thing he could do was offer me $130 off the total price and promised me a pickup 11am-3pm the next day on a new truck. I reluctantly agreed knowing they were refusing to refund my deposit. I asked if the Manager could email me the new booking confirmation and written confirmation of the $130 discount and he said he would straight away (this never happened).

Sunday 7/12 the following day I am waiting for the rescheduled pickup and called the Customer Service at 12pm asking to confirm that the truck was coming (Because I never received an email or message) and was told that they'd follow up with the driver and call me back. I never received a call back and attempted to follow up multiple times between 1:30-2:30pm but no one was answering their Customer Service number. The only way I was able to get through was to call the New Booking number (who picked up instantly) and ask for their help - they redirected me and I was put through to the same operator I spoke to in the morning who told me 'Well the truck is still broken down - so now it will have to be Monday pickup.' I told him that I'd already lost hundred of dollars due to this and was promised a new truck would be assigned today for pickup and would lose more money to cancel/rebook flights a SECOND TIME - so why was I only finding out the truck is still broken down at 2:30pm due to ME chasing them for updates. When I told him I would file a complaint to the ACCC because this service I had paid for was unacceptable I was told 'There is no reason to escalate, let me call the relocation team again and call you back.' Obviously he never called me back.

I'm filing a chargeback with my bank because they refuse to refund my deposit and submitting a complaint to ACCC tonight.

There is a long and lengthy complaint in with fair trading but in short the police where almost called as Removerlist’s where refusing to release my furniture unless I accepted their on the day “extra” fees despite being quoted a full service fixed price fee. They Removerlist’s used aggressive stand over techniques to demand more money. They didn’t complete the job, damaged multiple pieces of furniture and left with 3hrs of the paid service without as much as telling me. (Witt work still to do). STAY AWAY from this company at all costs

Avoid this company at all costs. I had one of the worst moving experiences imaginable with No Limits Removalists and feel obligated to warn others.

I was quoted 2–3 hours for my move (a small 2x2 apartment, all items pre-packed, boxed, and staged in the courtyard ready to go). Instead, I was forced to pay for 7.5 hours of labour + a 1-hour call-out fee (8.5 hours total) for a job that should never have taken anywhere near that long.

From the moment they arrived, it was obvious the job was going to drag — excessive standing around, constant talking instead of working, and zero sense of urgency. I even have photos and video screenshots of them standing around by the truck doing nothing.

At the new address, it somehow got worse. Despite me giving them a walkthrough and clear instructions on what went where, they kept putting items in the wrong rooms, ignored directions, and I ended up assembling my new bed myself while they continued to move at a snail’s pace. In almost an hour of unloading, only two items had come off the truck — I provided timestamped screenshots proving this.

To add insult to injury, items were not handled with care. My furniture was scratched, my cactus was damaged, and the single pull-out bed they “reassembled” literally fell apart because they didn’t reinstall the fixings. It is now broken and had to be thrown out — ironic, considering they advertise reassembly as part of their service.
The only time the pace picked up was when I started carrying items to the truck myself and placing them into their hands.

And the final kicker? Before they left, I raised my concerns and was told that they would not review the hours unless I paid the full amount first, which is an appalling and unethical practice. When I submitted a detailed complaint with photos and video evidence, the “resolution” offered was a laughable $100 “goodwill” refund.
For the stress, inefficiency, damage, and complete disregard for customer experience, this was an absolute rip-off.

I would never use this company again and strongly recommend choosing anyone else.
