The delivery was also a major issue. The driver arrived at 11:30 PM, well past the promised time of 8 PM. We asked them if it was too late and with the rain starting, they could deliver in the morning instead, but they pushed us to proceed and take delivery that same night.
To make matters worse, despite my clear instructions, the driver got stuck and damaged it significantly. When I urged him to reverse and take a different approach, he insisted he couldn’t. The drivers seemed tired and mentioned they had to take another load in just a few hours. Because of this fatigue, the driver could not properly judge the situation and neglected the warnings I gave him about avoiding the lawn.
I was staying at my Brothers place that night so we ultimately left him there because he needed to call a tow truck, which would have taken a long time, especially so late at night. The next morning, the damage to my lawn was even more apparent, and it was disheartening to see the result of this negligence.
While the company has acknowledged the issues, they have not been responsive in addressing my concerns or taking responsibility for the damage. I would advise anyone considering this company to think twice and look for movers who value their customers and communicate transparently.Read more
