We hired services to clear our personal items from customs. Our point of contact had zero comms between us and the delivery company (FedEx) in organising a customs clearance for 4 business days.
After constantly sending emails, requesting updates - we finally receiving a reply, we were advised that our request was put aside and that 'It was no longer required' due to a misunderstanding of our documentation.
I really think that it is extremely important to notify your customers that you've decided to set their request aside, instead of leaving them in the dark for almost a week.
We've been advised by FedEx that a customs clearance does not take long, however this process took almost 2 weeks.

I provided them all documents on time but they still charged me storage. They threatened and blackmailed me to get money out of me. There staff was also extremely rude.
