I couldn't fault the movers that helped me move last week. It was not an easy task moving from a 4th floor apartment into the hills with a steep driveway and set of stairs. The guys were on time, and handled my belongings with care. The rain came bucketing down in the last 20 min but this didn't slow them down. 100% would recommend and would use them again.

Very pleased with the effort that Billy and his team put in to move a lot of tricky, heavy and delicate belongings. Billy was a Tetris master to say the least, and if there was ever a better pick/packer than me, it would be him. The boys worked hard and were efficient, had a great sense of humour and managed to pull off a big move without damaging anything. I was nervous about moving my heavy marble dining table, Olympia massage chair and floppy king sized latex mattress; but they managed to move it in a manner that left me confident they were pros. The house I sold was left without damage, a huge bonus not having to navigate disputes. Having the right equipment, experience and strategy was the key to making this happen without any issues; and despite the rain, they managed to keep it clean and even cleaned up before and after themselves. Really happy with the service and well worth the price paid. Thank you boys once again and I hope that I don’t have to see you ever again, not because you didn’t live up to expectations, but because big moves aren’t that much fun. I found dealing with Jake Removals and Storage a great experience when moving recently. From the time of the booking where costs were explained with no hidden charges, the guys who physically moved the items without any complaints and working continuously, to the ease of payment by direct bank transfer. I am happy to add that all my furnishings were delivered without any damage or breakage. I would thoroughly recommend them and use them again.

The driver drove over our brick edging on the driveway cracking it all, driver also drove over our stormwater pit cracking it. Then damaged the front facade while moving furniture into the house. These guys didn’t respond just ignored every call. Beware. Untrustworthy. Unprofessional. They also charged extra hours and had two lunch breaks.

Hired Jake Removals at very short notice and they were able to come on a Sunday. They arrived on time, with two fit, strong guys - with all the right equipment... and were very friendly and efficient. The job was done within a very good timeframe... a job well done! Will definitely hire them again!
