We have just completed a move from Mt.Gambier to Queensland. From the initial booking with Duells the service has been outstanding. All questions answered, adjustments made. The crew picking up in Mt Gambier were polite,patient and professional. Everything packed with great care, not one thing damaged on arrival. Michael from Brisbane kept us up to date with progress and details of delivery. From loading to unloading, 9 days. The crew unloading (Premier Removals) were also outstanding, very helpful, patient and professional. Totally recommend using Duells.

Duells recently moved us from Murray Bridge to Mount Gambier. Outstanding service, great communication and the guys were brilliant to deal with on the day.

What a joke they are so incompetent from not returning calls from no care taken with goods causing damage that you have to cover with your own insurance even though it was there crappy packing that caused it. To telling you it was a week to 2weeks for your stuff to be delivered and then waiting 5 weeks to receive all your stuff. What a terrible experience I had I am disappointed and disgusted would never ever recommend or use this company again. All I can say is user beware.

I honestly hate making posts like this, but I don’t know what else to do.
Last week I paid Duells Furniture Removalists to move my house from Mount Gambier to Adelaide. It’s now been a full week and they still haven’t delivered our belongings.
They currently have everything we own — all our clothes, bedding, and important personal items. I have a baby and a 5-year-old, and we’ve basically been living with nothing but the clothes we arrived in.
When I called asking for an update, the reception staff actually laughed when I mentioned leaving a one-star review. As a parent trying to settle my kids into a new home, that was honestly pretty upsetting.
We paid for a service expecting our belongings to arrive in a reasonable time, but a week later we’re still waiting and have no clear answers.
If anyone has dealt with this company before or has any advice on what we can do to get our belongings back, please let me know.

Ordered a lounge from Adelaide store. Adelaide store Arranged to have Duells pick up and deliver to Naracoorte on a Monday . By Wednesday had heard nothing. I rang Duells , spoke to young lady who stated, we only received details on Monday. Too late for delivery on that Monday. It was then arranged to be delivered following Monday. Excellent. I rang Duells on the Monday for approximate time of delivery , this woman was rude, stated short of staff, so no delivery that Monday. But they had the lounge in mount gambier for delivery . I explained that it had been arranged for that Monday. She said no can’t do it. I was upset as it was now over a week of when it should have been delivered. She stated it’s only furniture , so not urgent. Message on my phone , stating delivery would be Wednesday, this week. 03/12/25. I rang Wednesday to check possible delivery time. She informed me that Adelaide store had cancelled delivery ???? I was shocked as last time I spoke to her , Wednesday as they had lounge in mount gambier. Rang Adelaide store , they were shocked knew nothing about cancelling.
( The final decision was another transport from mount gambier South West freight , was contacted. Delivered the lounge after pick up 03/12/25 from Adelaide and delivered Thursday 04/12/2025 to naracoorte ) I again contacted Adelaide store and asked , where the lounge was, as Duells said they had it in mount gambier The older woman who stated to myself the lounge was in mount gambier had admitted to Adelaide store , that they had not picked up the lounge from Adelaide at all. She lied and did not tell the truth.Read more

communication was poor, invoicing was wrong, complained about locks to storage units not working properly several times...not fixed and they demanded a 2 week written notice when vacating unit which I think is ludicrous when you're paying month to month. (rental properties only have to give 1 week notice).some sofa cushions ripped during moving. the only positives, workers friendly and punctual.
