Worst removalists ever. 100% would not recommend to my friends or to anybody else.

I received a phone call in the morning telling me that the removalists would call me 30 min prior to arrival. I then received a phone call during my allocated time (10-2 PM) at approx 12 noon informing me that my booking needed to be rescheduled (to after 4 PM) due to circumstances that were then actively denied by the crew who arrived later. The person who called me informed me that they could not come before 4 PM.

The crew who did show up turned up before 4 PM without calling so I was not home. They arrived at approximately 3.30 PM

They then wanted to cancel the job after loading the bed due to rain. I had taken the day off to do this move so I really couldn’t do that. They finally agreed to load the items.

At the drop off side, they were riding the Dolly Trolley down the ramp (pushing each other) which is the most childish and irresponsible thing I’ve ever seen. I’m glad they didn’t have an accident.

When they finally finished (they were incredibly slow) they charged me including the time they wasted and the time that they waited for me when I wasn’t given a thirty minute warning. They also added an extra cost due to having to go up and down a ramp (even though they used it for their own entertainment).

After I paid, they tried to scam me into paying again. Showing me a receipt that said the transaction failed. But the amount didn’t match my amount and I could see from my side that the payment had in fact been successful. I showed them my receipt and evidence of payment but they kept trying to argue that the transaction had failed. I then wasted another 30 min having to prove to their office (in the evening when I was supposed to be having dinner with my friends) that the payment had gone through by emailing them proof of payment to their office.

By this time I was very frustrated, especially after witnessing the utter immaturity of riding the dolly on the ramp. Surely they have work place health and safety training.

I finally was able to prove that the transaction had been successful but I will never get that time back. The crew did not apologise about making me stay and prove that my transaction was successful.

On top of all this drama, they managed to damage the fridge door.

I will NEVER use CBD movers again and I will actively warn others to avoid this company due to my horrible experience.

Do not go ahead with CBD Movers, they will damage your furniture, overcharge you, and then proceed to send you down the worst rabbit hole to try and get some compensation back. 2 weeks and we're still getting passed around with clear proof that we've been overcharged.

DON'T DEAL WITH THESE SHONKS!

I was moving a small 3 room office in Spring Hill with a moderate amount of furniture. First of all, they said they couldn't find a park (despite there being two loading zones less than 50m away) and drove off so the move was postponed a day and they returned with a smaller truck the next day. They were slow, had no platform trolley or stair trolley. It took over 8 hours to complete the removal and they were clearly not professional removalists. They wouldn't move PC monitors despite agreeing to the list of items I sent in advance which included monitors.

Worse still, they were incompetent and careless and damaged several pieces including an expensive desk suite, a cabinet and a fridge top. The estimated damage is almost $3k. They wanted me to pay on the spot and I refused. I have asked for insurance claim forms and they have so far failed to provide them but they keep harassing me for payment. They spend more time and effort threatening and harassing customers after the fact than they do performing the job and providing customer service. Zero stars and I'd give less if I could.

Just find someone else. It's not worth the pain.
