Please don’t use this company . A few years ago we used them to move to Queensland from Melbourne . When they dropped the container off they damaged our driveway in numerous areas . At the first I was told they were going to fix it and asked me to get some costs. After going back and forth with their very rude area manager at the time they stopped answering calls and emails . Leaving us with a $4000 bill to fix our home ( this was our first home btw) . At the time I was heavily pregnant and in the end gave up but I urge anyone considering to reconsider .
After many years of trying to leave comments on there website and review it is now available ( hence this review ). I just don’t want anyone else to have to deal with this .

Just used these people to move a 20ft shipping container full of household “stuff” from Wide Bay to Mareeba for the second time. Both shipments were flawless, and the staff and subcontractors were unusual by these day’s standard very pleasant to deal with. Delivered on time, to specification, and with a pleasant smile throughout – I didn’t have to chase once. Can highly recommend them to anyone. Moving Containers may not have been the lowest quote but overall they were the cheapest – no extras, no hassle, no let down! Well done Moving Containers.

Just had the container picked up after a move from WA to the west coast of Tassie. All my contact was with the amazing Ashlee who made the entire process not only smooth but stress free. From my initial conversation with her before booking, answering every little query with clarity and confidence, to booking and deposit, varying pick up dates both in WA and here in Tas (I suffered an injury that delayed me a little on both ends).
Ashlee was always happy to take my call, listen to me get a little too chatty and offer solutions to my issues regarding my mobility and the impact it had on my move. Not having to go through a phone menu to discuss everything was a very refreshing experience in this day and age.
Overall experience was an 11/10 and everything from the ease of organisation and schedule changes down to the pricing of the move and extension of container hire made working with Moving Containers Australia the least stressful part of a cross country move (I don't think I could have moved a greater distance if I tried!)
Ashlee deserves the biggest of pats on the back. Never let her go, I cannot imagine the overall experience working with her being any smoother.
I have friends considering similar moves in coming years, and will definitely be recommending they get in touch with Ashlee if a container move is the way they go.Read more
