These guys just can’t be trusted, they are thieves and liars (I am being polite here). First of all 6 hours late for the pick up and after a heap of lies I get threatened by one of their staff.
Pick up finally done, items arrive interstate EXCEPT half of them weren’t mine and there were key pieces of my furniture missing making the whole unit useless. After countless phone calls and empty promises of “it will be delivered on this day” and “you will be getting a phone call” nothing but lies.
End of the day I have a piece of furniture unusable, my son sleeping on a floor and the best I’ve got is “We’ll give you $300” not much for a $2,500 bed I need to throw away.

These guys cannot be trusted from my experience, no care and no responsibility, and god forbid you need to talk to someone who is understanding, all you get from the front desk is attitude piled on top of attitude on top of lies and then some more lies.

They packed all my belongings very neatly and securely, using extra wrap and tape to ensure the couch was well-protected. But They refused to take all my stuff saying it is more than the capacity I paid for. And the interesting part is that I haven’t taken a lot of big things I listed in my inventory like the big bbq, outdoor dining set and pantry cupboard. They started with the small boxes left my bed and coffe table and chairs to say they will not fit and you have to pay 1200$ extra. They said they will arrive 7 am they came 11:30 saying they had a flat tyre. No argu there as it was not their fault but they charged me 200$ extra saying there is a distance they have to walk then they dump almost everything in the garage saying they are late for their next appointment. They have damaged my furniture as they unloaded the truck in Sydney and put it in another truck. Seems like they dragged my dining table in the ground even with the wrap around it it is so damaged. The washing mashin is broken. Even the things they brought to the house they just dump them anywhere. left the coffee table and pillows in the garage and when my partner asked them to take them to the house they said call another company give them 100$ each and they take it to the house. We completed a move with iMove on the 12th of Nov from VIC to NSW.

During the loading process in VIC, the movers dropped a sofa from the lift at the back of the truck on to a set of chairs and a TV that was next to the truck on the ground. Consequently, the sofa legs have been damaged along with the sofa backing. When we opened the TV once in NSW, we found that the TV has been broken as well.

This damage was clearly due to the negligence of the guys loading the truck as one of them simply placed the sofa upright on the truck taillift and started raising it without paying any attention. He was very unapologetic about the incident and seemed quite rude.

The guys turned up for pickup at 8:30pm in VIC when they were meant to be there at 2:00 and also came to drop off in NSW at 8:30 the next night. At the destination, they left some of the heavy stuff such as bedframes, drawers and a trampoline box in the garage when we had paid for this to be moved upstairs or in the backyard. Their excuse was that they were getting late! We then had to hire someone to move the stuff upstairs.

We have another two TVs that are still unpacked and I hope there is no damage to these TVs as they are very new.

I have written to iMove three times and each time followed with phone calls. Have never received a response to my emails including no acknowledgement. You should not be allowed to cause financial loss to your customer and not care about it!

Needless to say, I will be pursuing this further for sure. Hire them at your own risk as they clearly do not care about your belongings!

RUN RUN RUN!!! This is the scariest company you could engage with for your personal belongings. Firstly, the delivery men are not remotely prompt or kind. We basically got blackmailed in to paying more money for more cubic meterage and then found out they didn’t even pack our extra items we paid for! Not only this, but our delivery arrived MAJORLY damaged. So we still have items stuck in another state that we have to pay storage for, and our items are irreplaceable! It has been hell to deal with these people. When we contacted them to notify them of the distressing experience, they basically took TWO weeks to get back to us (after we had to constantly follow up) and said we were being ‘sarcastic’ on the phone to us so HUNG UP! This has truly been the worst customer service experience we have ever had. We tried to give them the benefit of the doubt before we left a review but it just keeps getting worse with these guys that we now have to go to consumer affairs. Truly heart breaking.

This company does not even deserve a one star review, We moved from Brisbane to Sydney and we were given a quote for the move, We paid the invoice and awaited the day for the move, on the day the removalists turned up and started loading our belongings into the truck, they then told me that there is no place to unload at our new property and stopped packing our belongings so I called the office and they admitted on the phone that because I talked to a new staff member I was not given all the information up front, they mentioned I would now need to pay several hundred dollars for another truck/ute on top of the current truck I had already paid for, I told them I was not responsible for their negligence as they did not give me all the info and provide an accurate quote, the lady on the phone admitted it was an error on their end but they did not take any responsibility and I had no choice but to pay for a second smaller truck after speaking with my 3rd person on the phone they were rude and talking over me and didn’t have any care or customer service at all, we now arrived at our new place and found our TV to be broken in the move, I have emailed them about this but I doubt they would take any responsibility for this at all. $2000 TV btw. I have also requested the recorded phone calls but they keep telling me they will send out but never do, they know the recorded phone calls will prove their negligence, will be taking legal action on this.Read more
