The quote from iMove was $127 an hour for a 12 tonne truck. Lady i spoke to was lovely said their staff was all their own people they didn't sub contract. All staff were police checked etc soon as I paid the $200 deposit I had Eman messaging me saying truck wasn't big enough he recommends a 16 tonne truck plus a 6 tonne. I moved 10 months earlier same furniture different company a 12 tonne was fine. I said ok how much for 16 tonne quote said $145 hour ok fine. On the day 2 young guys turn up in a truck and container trailer that work for Adams and Rofe. So much for not sub contracting. The 2 guys were lovely but slow as. Took them 7 hours to load the truck. It took 2 hours with the last company we used. All up with unloading it was 10 hours plus call out fee of half an hour. When they rang the boss he said no it was $160 an hour so all up cost us $1530. Last company moved us in 5 hours was about $800. I wish I had of taken notice of the bad reviews but the receptionist was lovely gave a great spiel about the service. We have found the bottom of cupboards all chipped from dragging probably when packing the truck. Tubs broken from too much weight stacked on. Boxes that had fragile stickers on top were packed on their sides!!! On top of each other with heavy boxes on top of fragile. They had to use our ladder to hold truck door open as they didn't have a lift on back it was a roller ramp which probably damaged the bottom of the bigger furniture. We're still unpacking finding things broken or damaged. I would not recommend using iMove as what they say is different to what they do. The guys said they often get work because iMove doesn't have the bigger trucks. I'm assuming they use them for international moves. Took twice as long and cost twice as much as last company i used who I'll be using again next time. Do not use this company you will regret it
Oh and now a week later they're trying to ring me to pay the balance. It was paid on the day. Told her maybe contact Adams and Rofe seeing as they did the actual job. Would not recommend for your move. Terrible communication skills drivers didn't arrive until 8 pm Monday night. I had to help pack my own house otherwise they would've been there until early next morning. The two removalist themselves were fine. Still would definitely not recommend this company ever again.

A friend referred to us to this company. Had an interstate move with Frank and Sam. Service was great. They're punctual, organised, moved swiftly and effortlessly. Preparing your items well will definitely help. Recommend their service 👌. Thank you guys.
What could be improved for imove: update the backend system so all communication on the initial quoting process is consolidated into one instead of separate different emails which create confusion.

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Shant and Alex for my move today, helping me move into a new apartment. I can't recommend them highly enough. From start to finish, they were professional, efficient, and incredibly helpful.

Doing a local move with iMove today and the guys have been fantastic. They have showed huge amounts of energy making the uplift & unload very efficient with their strong work ethic. Every care has been taken with our belongings to ensure no damage to items or the properties being moved out/in. I used iMove 4 years ago for a move from Melbourne to Sydney & they were great then too (which is why I’m using them again). Highly recommended.
