I would not hire Kush again, nor would I recommend his services to anyone. We moved from a 2-bedroom apartment on the 3rd floor to a single-storey house. Kush assured us the move would take 5–6 hours at a rate of $110/hour (cash). Although we had quotes from others who promised to complete the job in 5 hours, we chose Kush based on his confident and persuasive communication.
Unfortunately, the experience was far from what was promised. Kush brought along a young, seemingly inexperienced assistant, and the move ended up taking nearly 10 hours. Our furniture wasn’t delivered until 11:00 PM, which was completely unreasonable. The delay was largely due to slow packing and loading.
Worse still, while removing our washing machine, the laundry tap was broken, causing a leak that partially flooded our apartment. When we called an emergency plumber (costing us $560), Kush casually suggested we just turn off the water mains and sell the apartment as-is—an incredibly unprofessional and shady response. He took no responsibility for the damage.
After unpacking over the next 5–6 days, we discovered scratches and missing rubber pads on our glass table. When we contacted Kush, he dismissed our concerns, citing a 72-hour reporting policy—which is unrealistic given how hectic moving can be. Despite sending photos and trying to follow up, he has since ignored our calls and emails.
To top it off, it was clear that neither Kush nor his assistant took proper breaks during the long day. His colleague looked completely exhausted by the end, which raises concerns about how they manage their team’s wellbeing.
Overall, this was a stressful and disappointing experience. I strongly advise others to look elsewhere for a reliable and professional removalist.Read more
