Very good service by Hundal Brothers. They arrived on time and completed the job within the promised timeframe. Their work was professional and efficient. This is the second time I have used their service and I am completely satisfied. Gill and Sandeep handled the move this time and were very professional gentlemen.

Summary: Our 2-bedroom apartment move on 24 Feb 2025 (less than 5 km away) was estimated to take 4–5 hours, but instead took 9.5 hours, cost $1,353, and still wasn’t completed. Several large items were left behind, multiple pieces of furniture were damaged, walls and floors were damaged and my family had to spend the entire next day finishing the move ourselves.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to share my experience so others don’t go through the same ordeal my family did with Hundal Brothers.
We were moving from a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment to another apartment under 5 km away. I had already provided a detailed inventory through findamover.com.au (approximately 17m³) and informed them that the building had a strict move booking window from 9:00am–4:00pm arranged with building management.
Despite viewing the apartment beforehand, the removalists arrived without any clear plan. They began loading small boxes first instead of large furniture, which resulted in inefficient use of space in the truck and significant delays.
It took 6.5 hours just to pack the first apartment, and they then said they would need to charge for a second trip because everything would not fit. By this stage it was already late in the day and approaching the end of the building’s booking window.
Because of the poor planning and packing, multiple large items were left behind. My family and I had to spend the entire following day transporting them ourselves, including trying to fit a chest freezer and a 2-metre cabinet into my hatchback. If large furniture had been prioritised first, this situation could have been avoided.
Additional issues included:
- Parts of our bed went missing, preventing reassembly
- Two chest drawers were damaged and several other items (fridge, dining table, coffee table, entertainment unit) received dents and scratches - they did not alert us to the damage to our items, we discovered it when the truck was being unloaded
- Boxes labelled ‘fragile’ were packed underneath other large items
- Walls at the pick-up property were damaged, affecting our bond
- Floors at the new property were scratched
-Large furniture items left behind due to inefficient truck packing (chest freezer, tall cabinet, two large desks)
- We had to assist the removalists ourselves to speed up unloading, which still took 3 hours
- The truck ran low on fuel and the driver asked us to help locate a petrol station mid-move, we were concerned they would charge us for the time it would take them to refuel, so we told them to do it at the end of the move instead
- When the truck left the first house to take the goods to the new house, we also left at the same time via car. The distance was less than 5km, and it took us 20 minutes. We were then waiting for them for another 20 minutes. It took them 40 minutes to cover the same distance as us, and we were charged for this travel time.
- Communication was difficult as one removalist did not speak English and the other spoke very limited English
Overall the move was poorly organised, extremely slow, and careless, resulting in damage, significant stress, and an additional full day of work for my family.
As we were displeased with our service we reached out to their supervisor to seek a remedy, especially for the damaged furniture and walls. They offered a $150 refund in exchange for us not posting a bad review. We asked for a better resolution, in which the supervisor said they needed to speak to management. We have not heard from them since.
In hindsight, I would have gladly paid the same amount to a professional removalist company that could have completed the move properly, in half the time and without causing us stress.Read more

I recently engaged the services of Hundal Brothers Removalists prior to Xmas after talking to a very happy customer that moved house in late 2025.
The booking process was very easy and the communications with Ivan the service coordinator was excellent.
The day of the move from Castle Hill was a genuine 40 degrees .
Maninder , Sharanbir & their offsider arrived after 6am with the large 50 cubic metre truck and began packing away all of our belongings meticulously into the truck .
They took exceptional care of every item & professionally maximised as much space as possible . I was absolutely astounded they managed to fit everything into one load.
Upon unpacking the truck at the new destination the removalists assisted us by placing all our items exactly where we wanted them placed & nothing was too difficult . Considering it was a very hot day by mid afternoon they never complained & continued working like true professionals.
I strongly recommend Hundal Brothers Removalists to anyone preparing to relocate their prized belongings , great service and very competitive pricing and a definite 5 stars from me . Give Ivan a call & tell him JT sent you !!Read more

Today I used Hundal Brothers for moving home. Gurpreet and Gurujeet, did an amazing job in moving things safely and efficiently. They used protection blankets and wraps and organised my furnitures the way I wanted in my new home. They listened to my instructions and assisted me in a professional manner.
