I had booked Jay for today the the 6th of July via txt and a recommendation from a friend. And we spoke on the phone and confirmed the date and time last week.
12pm today a no show. I called Jay he answered and said he would be at the move location in 20 minutes. After an hour of waiting still no show. I called with no response. I called using a different phone and a Lady with a Foreign accent answered stating I had the wrong number she didn’t know a Jay. (The same number I always used)
In the end I had to airtask the job in a hurry due to time constraints and was under a lot of pressure to move as keys etc had to be given back.
Very bad and unprofessional service. I would have preferred if he had of told me when I call the first time that he couldn’t make it.
Very very disappointed and let down.
Update on 'owners' reply. I made the booking and received nothing else from them. No msg, no email (I didn't give them my email address, I booked via Facebook Marketplace), no nothing. Jay did tell me, via txt, that he doesn't care about Google Reviews, because they just 'change the company name all the time. I have attached a screenshot of his text. Guys, just avoid. I notice the positive reviews are all from ppl who have only left 1 review - they couldn't be friends or fakes could they?
They had committed to come to our place on saturday in between 12-1pm.
We kept everything ready and were waiting till 1:30, but they didn't show up or not even cancelled on us. When i tried calling them, they kept on disconnecting my calls, after sometime they blocked me. This is so unprofessional, if they didn't want to take up the job atleast they could have called and cancelled. Since i had only day off, i had to arrange someone else to do the moving by paying extra.
Worst removalist company ever.
