We had a fantastic experience with Chris Watkins Removalists for our move from Ballarat to Launceston. From the very first phone call with reception through to the moving team on the day, everything went really smoothly. Everyone was friendly, professional, and easy to deal with, making what could have been a stressful move much easier. The movers took great care with our belongings, arrived on time, and kept us informed throughout the process. We really appreciated how seamless the whole experience was and would happily recommend Chris Watkins Removalists to anyone planning a move.

I can’t recommend Chris and his team more highly. They make a stressful
situation really easy. The moving team are so calm and careful and nothing is a problem. The admin team are super-organised, great communicators and extremely helpful. You couldn’t meet a more friendly helpful bunch.

Great people and great pricing!
I've just moved back to Tasmanian and needed to drag out some items that had been in storage for a couple of years - which involved unpacking an entire shipping container filled with both mine and my parents stuff to figure out whose was whose.
Heath and his helper had everything unpacked before I even got there, which made the sorting process 100x faster. There were no issues with anything that had been in storage; no mould, no dampness, and no damages.
The team also helped transport everything to the new place and were friendly and positive the entire time, going above and beyond to ensure everything fit where I needed it to :)

Chris and his team were excellent from start to finish. Our furniture was moved from Tassie to Victoria without a single issue. The reception staff were so friendly and helpful and the removalists were very considerate and careful with our things. All done on time and budget. Highly recommend 10/10

Very professional service. Never had to stress about anything using Chris. They helped us with a big move from QLD to Tasmania which included cars, trailers and a buggy. Everything arrived without an issue and everyone was very easy to deal with.

We recently moved interstate from Canberra to Tasmania and used Chris Watkins Transport for the entire process. We had a somewhat complex situation, moving into a smaller temporary place in Launceston before settling into our new home eight weeks later. All three properties had significant access challenges — steep drives, tight spaces, the lot, but CW handled it like legends.
Not a single item was broken, damaged, or misplaced. Everything was delivered exactly as it left. Chris and the boys were friendly, efficient, and genuinely great to have on-site.
A huge thank you also to Maddy, their Operations Administrator. Her communication, professionalism, and organisation made a huge difference. Always quick to respond, always friendly, and always on top of the details. Her reassurance throughout the process gave us complete confidence that everything was handled, and it absolutely was. Having that level of support made what could have been a stressful interstate move feel effortless.
