In the move they broke my bed. I tired to sort out the replacement or for the bed to be fixed. Never got any phone calls or messages back. I had to keep reminding them of the situation and they kept telling me the same lies over and over again.
They now do not answer my phone calls. I still have no bed and I am having to go through fair trading to get this sorted out.
I also payed for the insurance on the move they recommend. What a waste of money.

The matter will be pursued through the department of fair trading. To any single or vulnerable members of the community be warned.. do not to use these cowboys.Read more

The service we received for our removal was disgusting and very unprofessional. We received a message at 5:30 a.m. in the morning on the day of our move advising workers had called in sick and our job would be delayed for a couple of hours. At 1:00 p.m. I tried to contact Dave's removals to see what was happening with our move, with no response from phone messages nor my sms messages. They finally called and advised someone would be attending within the next hour. When someone finally did turn up we found out it was actually not Dave's Removals but another removal company. Never were we advised nor authorize this. Our move was quite large so the move commenced approximately 2:00 p.m. and finished at 1:00 a.m. the following morning.
There was no explanation or compensation paid for the inconvenience caused, even though they said the would. Liars and very unprofessional. I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THIS COMPANY EVER!!!! Use Hunts Removals!

I was back in Aus. 2 weeks later, phoned company was told big issues, someone had been giving false quotes/ double dipping/ person had been sacked/ i wasnt the only one/ the bsb i had been asked to transfer to, was not the companies????
Told manager would call me both times i spoke to staff member, I have not heard from anyone. I have spoken to bank today they are going to contact bank involved. Perhaps ombudsman and fair trading to follow.
