The lead up to my move was great. It seems like they had good systems in place and Tanya told me she would be my representative throughout the move should I have any questions.
Come to the moving day and all was good, they boys were doing a great job. They put a protector on the door frame and were wrapping furniture in the truck.
Come to the end of the move and the boys were finished. The did leave my dining table upside down after putting the legs back in which I thought was strange.
Now the problems began.
1. Flipped the table right way up and found damage in the table top.
2. Reported to the boys before they left and it seemed they knew the damage was there
3. Notes on the paperwork with the boys and sent an email to the office
4. Later noticed that one of the legs had been over tightened and damaged too so notified the office
5. Received invoice for additional time over the minimum 4 hours that were paid upfront
6. Some emails back and forth, some went unanswered and some received unprofessional responses with no resolution.
7. Phones the office and said I've been sending emails but have not heard back. The response in got was 'oh, I'm familiar with your emails' and again no resolution offered
8. Finally received an email from Brad with a suitable resolution that they would pay some $600 towards the damages being made up of the $242 additional time and $358 deposited into my account.
9. Unsurprisingly, this has not been paid and no further replies to any emails sent.
In summing up, everyone makes mistakes from time to time but if you can't deal with them correctly you are going to lose customers. I certainly will look elsewhere for my next move.Read more
