I normally never write reviews, but in this case I want to warn everyone for this disaster company! I have never felt as cheated in my life. The only person I would like to exclude from this is [name removed by Sirelo], she has been amazing when we spoke at the start, but unfortunately I was 'handed over' to her colleagues and from then on it was a complete nightmare.

It all started in October 2018. I moved from Sydney to Singapore and my furniture was still in storage in Sydney. We had to split the transfer of our belongings between Amsterdam and Singapore because part of our furniture had to go to our house in Amsterdam, which we rent out. All our furniture arrived in Singapore (in good state I must add) in November 2018. You won't believe it, it is now May 23rd 2019, but we are hoping our furniture will finally arrive tomorrow, this is 8 months later than when I requested the move.

During the whole process I was promised much shorter processing times and overall the communication to me has been really poor. Our renters were quite excited about the furniture initially, but when it took more than 5 months they had decided to buy their own things, as this was a bit ridiculous (fair enough). As we don't live in Amsterdam anymore the only thing I could do was give our things away to friends as our renters wouldnt accept them anymore. This meant that not only was more than 10K USD wasted with the move, also I lost all of my furniture. If I would have known this I would have just disposed our furniture in Sydney, which would be the economically more viable solution.

Also, when we decided to gift our furniture to friends a lot of unexpected costs came up. We had to pay for an 'elevator' and for a 'Parking license' because the movers said they wouldn't be able to park in the street without a license which is false. 'Loading and Unloading' can be done in the Netherlands without a license and they just refused to do so. Then they demanded an elevator to carry the furniture to the top floor, while this could also easily be carried. This cost us an additional 1000 USD.

As you can imagine the financial cost involved with this debacle is huge and not a single employee has offered me any compensation. What a scam company! International Movers, you have ruined my life this year with all the stress and frustration you have caused! I am thinking of suing.

After accepting the quote using their estimating tool a rep visited and said the cube was wrong and would have to requote which the quote not competitive anymore and we were out of time to engage anybody else(they knew this). The packing of the cartons was not completed efficiently which just pushed the cube up,which is what they wanted. We found numerous cartons with only one or two non fragile items wrapped with lots of wrapping paper, and they put their waste into the cartons as fill. The packers left eight cartons behind in a wardrobe they did not check and indicated we must have moved them which we didn’t there packers placed them there. We were assured this would not affect our sailing times ahd they picked the cartons up the next day just before we had to be out of the house. We were then notified by email the night before they were scheduled to land that our container was still sitting in Sydney and the ship it was booked on was bypassing New Zealand and they would advise the next available date. I then completed a search of my own and found the vessel berthed in Auckland with the same voyage number! This ship did not bypass New Zealand so why lie about it! Our story of horrors continues as I requested twice to speak to the most senior manager in Australia and have yet to have this conversation so this confirms that don’t care about the customers experience just the revenue and hoping this would just go away. Our container left our residence on the 5th December and we received our goods 8th of January, the promise was 3-4 approximately so they are within their promise but failed to communicate properly shipping changes and follow up that was our frustrations. Would not recommend them nor use this company again.

I liked the company and their knowledge of customs etc. however, the packers were not very efficient resulting in a larger volume of goods than anticipated - which costs more.

Nice people, both the consultant that came and gave us the quote and the team that did the packing and uplift, easy to deal with, kept us informed.

Would be 5 but have not got our shipment yet. The guys dropped of boxes weeks before for me to prepare to pack. Then on the day so quick and tidy.
