But that turned out to be a poor choice.
Something has changed with there once amazing customer service.
I had booked for a small move for my father to move from my place to a retirement village.
I had responded via email on 2 seperate occasions confirming that I wanted to book in the move.
The morning of I had not heard from them.
After attempting to call I eventually sent an SMS to ask what is happening.
I got a response back that said they didn't have my booking and could not assist today.
There was no attempt to offer a resolution or suggestion on what they could do to assist with their error.
I then called again and was able to speak to someone who again said they can't do anything and to perhaps try Air Tasker.
I stated this would not work due to my elderly father not being to understand how that works.
I had to push to see if they could offer any additional availability for this week and was told it's unlikely and they would need to call me back.
As yet I have had no call back.
Super disappointed in the service. Moving is stressful enough especially for an elderly person, then to be left high and dry with no compassion for the mistake of the company or show any willingness to provide some support.
Really not a good look for a company that was once a lot better than this!Read more
