However, they were almost an hour late (for the first move of the day), with no phone call or apology. That's normally fine, but with a two hour move in/out window at most city apartment blocks, they should know to turn up on time. When I told them that we didn't have enough time, they insisted on proceeding, probably knowing they'd run way over, as was the case.
They were unhappy to move certain items (such as a wide computer screen) which means I have to run a few car loads.
Finally, one of the guys was very stern, unfriendly and impatient throughout.
Overall though, the job got done, nothing broken, and fairly priced. I just wished they'd either arrived on time or called ahead so I could have squared it with building management. But reading the other reviews, it seems a common thing with these guys. Something to work on, I guess.

I am not Kirstyn, you can see that this is not a fake email as I have done previous reviews. Kirstyn is keeping her side of the deal in deleting her review for her refund (which is a pretty dodgy deal, well give you a partial refund for us doing a bad job if you delete the honest review of us).
There weren't 4 sets of stairs, the move was to the 2nd floor and parking and stairs were mentioned before the job was taken on. Inventory of what was left: TV, backpack, bin, mattress protector and a large wooden chopping board. These were all item that were asked to be taken. Interesting that I didnt mention what had been broken yet you knew exactly what it was, looks guilty. No it wasn't already like that, the bookshelf was unstrudy, that was acknowledged but not the cat tower.
'If you have any issue, call us anything but please do not do this'? Not sure how that classes as customer service.Read more
