We asked for a truck with a lift for my tool box and safe, they agreed, quoted us and came with a ramp, and acted like they had no idea about our agreement. They then charged us extra after they already confirmed a truck with a lift, to come ANOTHER day with the truck we originally paid for and asked for.
They spend 2 hours disassembling our bed, and 3 hours reassembling, one guy who had no idea what he was doing, and another just watching. $165 an hour btw… absolute scammers.
They dropped my $10,000 toolbox and claimed it was already damaged.
They scratched our roof, wall, chipped dry wall, damaged doors, and lied about getting a professional to paint match and fix it. They just sent the same non english speaking guy who dabbed a paintbrush over the damage with incorrect matching paint.
They literally were moaning and sooking while getting paid $65 per HALF hour, because it was a friday..
The total price was more than double the original quote.
This was a 2 bedroom House btw
Honestly just scammers. STAY AWAYRead more

Edit: unfortunately I have to update this review with final results: washing machine was left near the door and not attached in the laundry room, other than beds nothing else was assembled. I have done 3 interstate moves within Australia before this and this is the most expensive yet the least 'included' items in the deal (even the beds assembling and disassembling was said to be 40 per bed but fortunately that was waived somehow). Also, muval took my inventory listing, charged me for that and gave the removalists 24m3 while the removalists put everything in (even leaving out a fridge and a desk) and still it was 36m3 according to them. Thanks still for actual transfer of items that would've been otherwise impossible to do on my own but given the price and lack of everything else this review comes down from 5 star to 2 stars. Very disappointed. Also, I ask others who put in 5 star review based on the promised items, please change your reviews after the actual move.
2nd review:
Can't give them zero stars but the lowest is 1 star... Added pics of the heavy front loader washing machine near main door and the broken leg of one of my items. This is just sad!
I paid 4200+ for something I paid around 2k last time, 1600 before it and 1400 before that. First two times things were much much less but the difference in items between the 2k move 3 years ago and current 4k+ isn't too much... Most of the same items were transferred both ways. But I thought it was only because of other way move from Melbourne to Sydney. Higher price is fine if the service is good but it hurts when price is high but service is lowered or even mostly lacking. This is not okay. I am truly disheartened.
3rd edit: oh wow! Even the bed was fitted wrong! Added photo.Read more
