Extremely disappointed with this company. The movers were rude, unprofessional, pushed back on taking items I had confirmed and damaged walls and several items. Not to mention, I emailed a complaint, called several times and sent 3 follow up emails and no one has replied. To book the job though, responses were very quick. Do not use this company!

Hi, I recently changed my office location and was looking forward to getting some assistance for moving the office belongings. I took the services from Movers and Packers Melbourne, and I am simply amazed by their quick feet and prompt service.

I reached out to their customer care office and booked a time. They are really punctual and came as promised. From packing to loading, they took all the sweat! I can put my bet that they are the best movers and packers Melbourne might have! I am thrilled with their customer care service, where all staffs are very attentive to your problems.

They took the utmost care with all of my office possessions, and there was not even a single scratch. All the devices, from computers to printers, were packed nicely. I am pleased with their work. The bill that they sent was also minimal and within my budget.

I am planning to shift my home to Sydney next week. I have heard that they provide equally good interstate services, so I am indeed planning to retake their professional help. I will recommend all of my relatives and friends reach out to them if they plan to transfer their belongings!Read more

We had a poor experience with Eagle Movers when moving house last September. Things didn't get off to a good start when the moving team didn't show up at the allotted time of 8:30am. I called after waiting for an hour and found out that whilst they knew they had a booking for me, they didn't know the time or place as it hadn't been entered into their system. The movers ended up being 2.5 hours late, arriving at 11am, and not once was I offered a discount due to the administrative error.
Furthermore, I didn't have that much stuff to move and nothing particularly tricky, however, I found the movers pretty gruff, unpersonable and seemed to take exception to most things they needed to move. Once we arrived at the new address, they complained that they couldn't get most things up the stairs, despite the only thing I was worried about was the bed base (which they weren't able to move). They also took 4 hours to do a job that should have taken less than 3.
I shouldn't have to coax professionals to just attempt to do their job properly. This was particularly annoying as, subsequent to receiving a new fridge a couple of months later, the person who delivered it did a fantastic and fast job, were in and out with minimal fuss within minutes.
Overall, it made me realise paying more for better moving service is a better idea than picking the cheapest option.
They did redeem themselves by not damaging anything and helping move stuff into certain spots.

We had a very regrettable experience with this moving company. They demanded we pay cash and that we should pay for 5 hours, even though they were done in 4. They were really hard to understand and difficult to communicate with. When we said that we would pay the office through bank transfer, they repeatedly and aggressively badgered us for proof, interrupting the transaction and calls to the office. They refused to leave and said they would charge us for the time they were waiting. Their behaviour was completely inappropriate and disturbed us. To top it off, they damaged several items, only one of which we asked replacement of. They refused saying that we told the men to use whatever force required to get the item through a doorway. I simply told them that the item had come in that way without damage so it was possible. I was the one to stop them when it was clear that they were damaging the couch. They couldn't figure it out but put the blame on us so that they wouldn't have to replace it. The item was less than a year old and in perfect condition so we were extremely disappointed. Not recommended! They were supposed at my place at 8am but I got a phone call at 8:10am to say that they were stuck in traffic. Which seemed unusual for that time of the morning on a Saturday? The movers did not arrive until 9am. Which is 50 mins after their phone call - about the time it takes to get from their depot to my house according to google maps.
The two people that came to my place did not seem the most comfortable/ confident truck drivers - definitely not 'professional movers'. I did live on a narrow street but as these narrow streets are common in Melbourne the ability to reverse down these would be essential. I have previously seen a number of trucks reverse down that street - rubbish truck does it every week. They also reversed into a power pole outside my house as they were leaving.
I then followed the truck to my new place so saw when they turn into a petrol station to fill up the truck. I would expect that this would be done before or after my move had been made as I was told on the phone that I would not be charged any extra for refuelling and driving the truck back to the depot.
While moving my furniture from the truck into my new house they dropped the corner of my solid bed base in the mud.
The movers were quite unprofessional around the payment of the service. They did not know how much I was to pay to begin with. I am not super comfortable with doing a bank transfer to pay. They’re not transparent about payment options when the bookings are being made (I.e. cash only).
I wrote an email to Eagle movers complaining of the service I received. At no point have they apologised for anything but they have offered a 10% refund for the service – although I am yet to see this refund so don’t know if I will ever receive it.
