Recent move was woeful. Care taken with filling the truck but after ringing head office a number of times to say you need a big truck and are there definitely two guys - one guy and a truck that could only fit half our stuff. You have to pay up front before they accept the job and then the lies start - woeful! DONT DO IT!

Excellent communication. Drivers and assistants very friendly and helpful. They even returned the next day when they realised one of our boxrs was still in the truck. Highly recommend.

Excellent service from start to finish!
The team at Southwest Removals and Storage were fantastic — quick to respond, arrived right on time, and handled the rubbish pick-up and dump efficiently. They made the whole process stress-free and left the area spotless. Great communication, fair pricing, and friendly staff. Highly recommend their services if you need reliable and professional rubbish removal!

READ ALL THE 1 STAR REVIEWS, I WISH I HAD. I arranged for the removalists (date and time) who cancelled at 4 PM the day before our scheduled move, stating they could only assist us two days later (such little notice we were forced to concede to their date). This last-minute cancellation was extremely unprofessional, especially considering how stressful moving can be. Nonetheless, eventually, two individuals arrived at the property, and I guided them through, explaining what needed to be moved. During the removal process, I observed several items being handled carelessly, with some sustaining minor damage. While we anticipated some scratches and nicks during the move, the level of disregard was obvious. The movers kept mentioning that they had another house to attend to and didn’t expect the process to take so long. I then inquired about the larger furniture pieces, thinking they would start with those and then pack smaller boxes around them, these were supposedly “professionals,” and perhaps there was a method to their madness. When I asked about the large furniture, they responded, “we’ll get to it.” After three-quarters of the move was completed, I again asked about the large items. They looked at them and immediately stated, “they can’t move it as it requires a four-man team.” (I had walked them through the house and pointed out everything that needed to be moved before they began; how could they now claim they couldn’t handle the rest?) After contacting the manager, he informed me that he couldn’t assist, as they were “independent third-party movers from Perth.” Additionally, they insisted on receiving cash payment for the three-quarters of the house that had been moved before the end of the day. I strongly advise against using South West Furniture Removalists, you should steer clear of them.

Hayden to your reply, your company cant arrange removalists on scheduled time let alone doesn't even know what customers you have had. 0 star if I could. Attached invoice Hope you guys know this is actually your company not my mistake.

Please read before considering using this company.

I was contacted via phone in the days prior to our move to see if we could move the date of our move back because of logistical issues.

I informed the person calling that this was not suitable at all as our container was being shipped internationally and we also had settlement on our house for March 4th.

On the morning of our move your company was supposed to arrive at 7.30am.

I received a phone call from Nathan at 7.30 that one of his workers had called in sick because he had a migraine after driving from Kalgoorlie and not arriving back until 3am. Surely a fatigue management issue if you were expecting him to work the next day or just an excuse?

Nathan then said that we would have to do the move over 2/3 days. I replied that this was not suitable at all and that I had paid a lot of money to move on one day to which he immediately replied “alright so we will cancel the job”. Obviously I had no option at that late stage to have my move cancelled. Nathan was rude and aggressive on the phone and left me feeling backed into a corner to accept the alternative moving arrangement.

I asked to speak to the owner of the company to which informed me he was the owner, is this true?

A 20ft container truck eventually arrived to our house on the afternoon of Feb 27th.
All our itinerary was uplifted and loaded onto this truck.
Our move was completed the next day with our container being loaded in Perth.

This is not the service that I paid you for and meant we had to cancel other plans in our already tight moving schedule. I do not appreciate being treated so poorly by your company and particularly Nathan. Your poor service added a lot of extra stress onto my family.

I also note that after your calculations we paid for 45m cubed to be transported. You only used a 20ft container to move all of our itinerary which is considerably less than 45m cubed.

Upon follow up via email Hayden agreed a partial refund for the space we were overcharged.

I don’t usually review things but I just would like people to be aware of this company and not have to go through what my family did.

Just wanted to say how grateful we are of the two blokes who came to do our move last week!
I have never had such a great experience and I have moved house 9 times in the past 15years.
These blokes were fast, efficient and genuinely lovely to work with 😊
