I was contacted via phone in the days prior to our move to see if we could move the date of our move back because of logistical issues.
I informed the person calling that this was not suitable at all as our container was being shipped internationally and we also had settlement on our house for March 4th.
On the morning of our move your company was supposed to arrive at 7.30am.
I received a phone call from Nathan at 7.30 that one of his workers had called in sick because he had a migraine after driving from Kalgoorlie and not arriving back until 3am. Surely a fatigue management issue if you were expecting him to work the next day or just an excuse?
Nathan then said that we would have to do the move over 2/3 days. I replied that this was not suitable at all and that I had paid a lot of money to move on one day to which he immediately replied “alright so we will cancel the job”. Obviously I had no option at that late stage to have my move cancelled. Nathan was rude and aggressive on the phone and left me feeling backed into a corner to accept the alternative moving arrangement.
I asked to speak to the owner of the company to which informed me he was the owner, is this true?
A 20ft container truck eventually arrived to our house on the afternoon of Feb 27th.
All our itinerary was uplifted and loaded onto this truck.
Our move was completed the next day with our container being loaded in Perth.
This is not the service that I paid you for and meant we had to cancel other plans in our already tight moving schedule. I do not appreciate being treated so poorly by your company and particularly Nathan. Your poor service added a lot of extra stress onto my family.
I also note that after your calculations we paid for 45m cubed to be transported. You only used a 20ft container to move all of our itinerary which is considerably less than 45m cubed.
Upon follow up via email Hayden agreed a partial refund for the space we were overcharged.

So far it seems not a single item was damaged or broken - a testament to how well these guys know how to pack!
Pricing, compared to other quotes was excellent.
