Absolutely amazing from start to finish. Will and his boys worked so hard, in the heat and were extremely accommodating when our parameters changed! Jasmine who took our booking was equally amazing communication and liaison kept us in the loop with times and space. Thanks guys you made our move super smooth!

Extremely rude.

Their customer service was atrocious, and their policy which ensures their lack of accountability/liability if they break something, isn’t helpful to their customers at all.

While moving my furniture, their removalists dropped and damaged an item of ours. I was understanding about this, and a note about the accident and damage was made when it happened, and the removalists told me to call their office the next day and speak to the owner to get it resolved. It all seemed reasonable. So that’s what I did. I thought it’d be a quick convo where the owner would let me know their plan to fix it, or whatever else would be fair.

However, when I called the next day, I only managed to introduce myself before the woman on the other end of the phone immediately started yelling at me and then hung up! I was shocked!

2.5 weeks later, (after many non returned phone calls, many times being dismissed and hung up on, and a lot of rudeness from this business), the other owner told me that apparently Dardanup Removals has what’s called an “all care, no responsibility” policy, which he said means they don’t need to replace, repair, or have any liability at all for any items that they damage.

This sounds strange to me. I’ve never known a business that can damage someone’s property and not have to cover the expense of the repair.

What the owner said about this policy is that customers can choose to take out a $15 insurance policy when you call Dardanup Removals initially. He said that if you don’t pay for this policy when you book in a job, Dardanup Removals aren’t liable for anything they break while moving your furniture etc. However, they didn’t tell us about this policy of theirs and the recommended insurance until 2.5 weeks AFTER they damaged an item of ours, which is why I’m including it here - so other customers can get a heads up and make sure they enquire about it when they first call to book a job. To this day, this still sounds odd to me.

But above all else, the customer service from the lady I spoke to on the phone after the job was done (for the entire 2.5 weeks afterwards) was atrocious. She was SO rude. Continually yelling at both me and my husband, insulting us, she continually hung up on me, didn’t call back when she said she would, then would get angry when I’d call back to follow up after a few days as I hadn’t heard from her, etc. I’m shocked that someone would talk to another person this way - let alone a business talking to a customer this way. And not once has there been any apology for their behaviour.

The removalists on the day were friendly. An item was dropped and damaged as they were moving it, but it was an accident and the item was replaceable. The accident could have been prevented if they had’ve used more care, such as tying the item onto their trolley rather than just balancing it on the trolley, or if there had’ve been two people moving that item instead of just one, but I watched it happen and it truly was a genuine accident done by a removalist who just seemed inexperienced. If that was the only issue that we had with them, I wouldn’t be leaving a negative review, as these things happen. But the follow up behaviour was absolutely atrocious. And their lack of insurance or acceptance of liability is very odd, and I don’t think it’s appropriate. Especially since we’ve talked to other local removal companies about this since then, and they’ve all said that they’ve never known of a removal company with this sort of policy.

After a lot of hassle, they did end up partially fixing the cabinet that they broke, however they were NOT happy about it, refused to fix it completely, and even while fixing it, they were still grumpily telling us that legally they’re not required to do anything at all.

Based on the extreme rudeness we experienced from this business, there’s no way that I’d ever hire them again.

I highly recommend Dardanup Removals. The team took great care in moving our belongings from north Perth to bunbury and they made the entire move seamless. All challenges are faced with a positive and can do attitude. Our large double door fridge squeezed through the tiniest of door frame with precision and no damage. Would absolutely book them again!

A perfect move from a friendly helpful team. If there is a way around a challenge then Will finds it. I think our long lounge suite will be in our new apartment forever or at least until Will can get it out! Thanks again fellows.

My sister used Dardanup Removals today going from Dunsborough to Subiaco. She highly recommends them, says they couldn't have been more helpful, very efficient and friendly. Took great care of all the furniture and everything went very smoothly. Thank you for making my sister's moving a little less stressful !!!!

I had a terrible experience with these guys. First I had a wrong house delivered, after 5 hours waiting I had the right one. There are important pieces missing like the feet’s of my bed and a trole that I need for work.
When you call them, that’s a very rude woman on the phone that doesn’t answer anything and never return the calls. I will definitely not recommend this service.
