SCAM ALERT!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! We paid a deposit for services (no contract) 8 months in advance for our interstate move. Two weeks before our move date [Name removed by Sirelo] messaged us saying he was in hospital due to truck accident and the moving truck was in bad shape. Despite multiple follow-ups to confirm if he was able to do the move, [Name removed by Sirelo] was unresponsive to our inquiries, which caused us considerable stress and uncertainty about the reliability of his services.
We did not hear back from him until we informed him that we were booking other movers as we were not confident with his services and requested our deposit back. He hung up us on the phone and has not responded since. We tried to go through Consumer Affairs Victoria however he is telling them that we broke the contract (which there was no contract). Don't make the same mistake as us and send them money.
