Shipment was cleared after four weeks from the expected date. As expected, items were stolen.
The customer service at the Colombo office was extremely bad. Calls to schedule the collection went unanswered. THEY JUST DO NOT CARE. This is a situation we’ve never encountered with other cargo services we’ve used multiple times before.

Such a bad experience with Transco cargo for boxes to Sri Lanka..
This is the first and the last we would use them..
The shipment arrived in Colombo 3 weeks after the expected due date, it took another 3 weeks for them to give a collection date and time. DISGUSTING SERVICE!!!
Appalling customer service in Colombo office, no one gets to the phone to book collection date. Some of the food items couldn't be consumed due to leaving them in hot sun.. never happened to us with other cargo service we used quite a few times before.. NO CARE FOR THE GOODS... It justifies from previous comments too...
The boxes arrived in Sri Lanka within four weeks, and the door-to-door people took more than 12 days to deliver them to the house after so many phone calls.
In those boxes, I have sent baby items for my pregnant niece. Most baby items were missing, and both full boxes had less than three-quarters of the goods.
When I contacted the head office in Sri Lanka, they said they couldn't be responsible for currier drivers who do the delivery.
Do not use this company if they can't take responsibility and use some reliable and honest carrier drivers.
1. One box was badly damaged(It was less than the standard weight).
2. When my family opened another box, they found someone had left a leftover food box in there.
3. Some items are missing in the boxes(biscuit and solid foods)
This explains the lack of care handling the goods.
