This was a dream service.
We had Barbara and Pauline who were our angels on earth. They packed our TINY, cramped terrace in Darlington which has NO AC and did the whole house in 8 hours. 75 boxes!!! I felt so bad with how hard they had to work but they were so professional and got the job done.
I cannot imagine moving myself ever again.
We also had them help us with some of the unpack and I have never felt so organised with my boxes. First day, I found my shampoo in the first box I opened!!! And that same day, I went to the kitchen and asked the ladies if they'd know where a specific sauce was to have with my lunch, and they found it in that first box too!!! We only had them for 4 hours for the unpack and in that time, they did the kitchen and most of our wardrobes. Would recommend to anyone.
They also had tidying advice which I have followed! My pantry has never looked so good!

Absolutely fantastic company/moving service to deal with. Easy to communicate with on the phone and provided a very reasonable and competitive quote for pack of house before move. Booking a date without a long wait time was a bonus. Expectations (from FT and my end) clearly explained and met. Moving ladies on the day were very efficient and polite. Worked within agreed hours (and gave my dog lots of pats!). Everything arrived safely at the new property and boxes were clearly labeled. Can recommend to anyone looking for hassle free packing and move. 10/10

Cannot recommend the Finishing Touch ladies highly enough. We have used them several times over the years. Their experience, suggestions, professionalism and work ethic has made all the difference for us when we moved. I could not manage a move without them!

Finishing Touch staff were so helpful with both packing and unpacking. The 2 ladies who had packed everything so well 2 days before came back to unpack and after they had finished unpacking the boxes that they had packed, they unpacked other ones as they still had time. They were so helpful and pleasant to talk to as well as being hard workers. Thoroughly recommended.

Used their services for packing the kitchen and bathrooms - life changer. It meant I could focus on other things which made the move far less stressful. It was worth every penny and I will use them again in the future. I just wished I'd also used them for the unpacking!

Amy and Fiona from The Finishing Touch were absolutely amazing and made our move so much easier!
These wonderful ladies packed up our entire kitchen before the move with such care and efficiency, and then on moving day, they truly went above and beyond. They unpacked the kitchen and organised everything beautifully, tackled the linen cupboard, made all our beds, and even laid out towels in the bathrooms. These lovely personal touches made such a difference at the end of a long moving day.
Amy and Fiona were incredibly thorough, friendly, and professional throughout. Their attention to detail was outstanding, and their positive, can-do attitude made all the difference. They worked tirelessly and nothing was too much trouble.
If you want to take the stress out of moving, I cannot recommend The Finishing Touch highly enough. Amy and Fiona are absolute gems who took care of the hardest parts and made settling in so much easier!
