DO NOT RECOMMEND.
Failed to turn up on the first day, and failed to turn up on the second day as renegotiated.
I am an ADF Veteran, and don’t have the capacity to lift heavy objects, and after they ignored my calls all morning, i had to block my number in order to get through to them, and then I had to plead with them to get a team on sight or we were going to be screwed, as we had to be out of the house that weekend.
They finally turned up late on the second day and due to their delays, we missed out on an event we had paid to attend months in advance. They reimbursed my ticket value, but extremely devastated I had to miss it due to their mismanagement.
The team who turned up barely spoke English, which was difficult, but we got through it and they were very hard working, no complaints.
As they were so late, we had to help as much as we could in order to mitigate the time lost over the two days, which aggravated my injuries and caused me pain and discomfort over the next few days. This then put the burden of cleaning on to my partner,, as I was now out of action, and created even more stress.
Using removalists was supposed to make this process easier, but it was an absolute nightmare and in hindsight, we would have been better off just somehow doing it ourselves. Never again.

These guys are driving around a SMASHED up truck doing jobs with it. Absolutely unsafe and so reckless. Have seen them on the Gold Coast and this picture was in Wynumm. How is this safe to be on the road. You get what you pay for people....

Their response is a lie. They also did a job in Coomera on the 21st of May with the same. Smashed up truck. I have photos of that too.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

1. Removalists arrived over an hour late, without apology or communication. They were then unable to open the back of their van as it was padlocked and they did not have the key with them, so proceeded to disappeared for a further two hours to find a locksmith.

2. The two removalists seemed very inexperienced and took a ridiculous amount of time to load the van. Absolutely no urgency to get the job done, despite the 3 + hours delayed start.

3. They did not bring appropriate equipment, including tape or ties, what they did bring was damaged and did not function well. I provided them with our own flat bed trolley to speed up the loading process, as they did not have one. The protective sheets they used were dirty and they left our belongings unattended on the road.

4. They reversed their van over our floor lamp, then proceeded to hide it in the back of their truck. I have photos of them hiding the lamp attached. On completion, they assumed I had not seen this occur and were planning to take the lamp away without mention or any form of compensation. I confronted the removalists about this when they asked me to sign a form stating no damages occurred, the removalist begged me not to write it on the form or tell the company, as he would be fired. He first agreed to compensate me directly himself, however after I signed the form he advised he could not afford it, and very unprofessionally showed me his bank balance.

5. When trying to get compensation for the broken lamp directly with the company, I was shut down immediately and told their insurance would not cover it. When threatened with videos of the lamp being both run over and then hidden in the truck, the company put me in direct contact with the removalist to compensate me himself. Despite the complete lack of professionalism regarding this, it also suggests that contrary to what the company states, they do NOT have any insurance. And based off their complete lack of manual handling skills, equipment, and general common sense, they need it.

6. Any of the positive Google reviews are fake. They are written by the removalists / company themselves (the same names as people I have been interacting with trying to get compensation).

Overall, a terrible experience, this company is a complete joke. Despite everything else, they have terrible support of their staff, and are willing to hold them personally liable when things go wrong. Do NOT support this company.

I recently used Xpress Movers for my relocation, and I couldn't be more impressed with their service. From the moment I contacted them, they handled every aspect of the move with professionalism and efficiency.

The team arrived promptly on moving day and worked tirelessly to ensure that all my belongings were packed and transported safely to my new home. They were incredibly careful with fragile items and handled everything with the utmost care.

Throughout the entire process, communication was excellent, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. They made what could have been a stressful experience into a smooth and seamless transition.

I highly recommend Xpress Movers to anyone in need of reliable and top-notch moving services. Thank you to the entire team for a job well done!

I had the worst possible moving experience with Xpress Movers. Before posting this review, I wrote to them outlining my dissatisfaction and the damage done to my furniture - I’ve had no reply.
My move was delayed a week because they wanted to do jobs in Brisbane, when it came to moving my furniture they did it the weekend Cyclone Jasper hit north Qld. The driver arrived in Ingham on Sunday night & had to stay overnight Sunday & Monday before flood water receded. I received a call from Xpress movers saying if I didn’t pay them another $3000 they wouldn’t deliver my furniture. Also had a call advising they were going to leave my things at the nearest storage facility as they were losing business waiting for flooding to go. They’d already been paid $9000 to deliver my goods. Unbeknown to the company, my furniture was delivered Tuesday - they were still trying to swindle the $3000 out of me. I told the caller the that what she was saying was not true as the truck was at my location and unloading. I was told that was not right and before delivery I had to pay the extra money. When I said the truck was being unloaded, the caller said she would talk to her boss and call back - that didn’t happen.
Furniture was badly damaged, no blankets or packing used. Packing tape wrapped around antique furniture damaged the varnish.
The truck leaked and many boxes were wet, queen mattress was wet & stained down one side. They also left 5 boxes in the shed so I had to drive back with a trailer to pick them up.
Driver didn’t speak or understand English, which made it difficult to communicate. When I questioned the callers about extra costs, insurance etc I was told on each occasion that they need to speak to their boss. I verbally complained and sent an email listing each problem, how much it upset me and sent photos of the damage. I’ve heard nothing.
Would never recommend this company to anyone. The fact that they tried to hold my belongings to ransom for another $3000 is disgraceful and the disrespect of my belongings is beyond disappointing.

I am incredibly disappointed in the service received. There was a huge lack of English where they could barely understand myself or my partner, a lot of my plastic tubs (10 had to be replaced) I have my things in have been broken, my clothes airer has been damaged, my brand new clothing shelves have been damaged, they took most of the day to complete the move but were really slow as they were talking in another language between themselves and standing around a lot. I watched them take furniture in and out of the same room several times even after just asking them to place it anywhere in the rooms and we would sort it later. We sat around for so long watching them take their time and chat that we were about to unload the truck ourselves. They charged us for travel time also and the whole charge was way too much for the lack of service that was provided.
