From the moment they arrived, Ben and Ronnie were professional, courteous, and incredibly efficient. They handled my belongings with the utmost care, ensuring everything was safely loaded and unloaded. Their positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile made a potentially stressful experience surprisingly smooth and even enjoyable.
Ben and Ronnie's teamwork was impressive. They worked seamlessly together, demonstrating excellent communication and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction. Their attention to detail and dedication to providing top-notch service were evident throughout the entire process.
I highly recommend Man with a Van removals, and especially commend Ben and Ronnie for their exceptional work.

I had a horrible experience with Man With a Van and would never use them again. During my move, they broke my TV, and instead of taking responsibility, they completely dismissed my concerns.
The movers were careless with handling my items, and despite my clear instructions to be careful with fragile items, my TV arrived at the new place cracked and unusable. When I brought it up, they refused to acknowledge any fault and wouldn’t offer any compensation or even an apology. Their customer service was equally unhelpful, giving me the runaround and pointing out they don’t cover TVs “unless in original packaging”
A moving company should be reliable and accountable, but unfortunately, Man With a Van is neither. If you value your belongings, I’d strongly recommend looking elsewhere!

Thanks so much team.

What really stood out was how conscious they were of the timing. They worked efficiently to stay within the assigned paid hours, even though we were willing to pay extra if needed. Their professionalism and attention to detail were top-notch, and their friendly attitude made the entire process smooth and enjoyable.
We’ll definitely be using their services again for any future moves.
Highly recommend to anyone looking for reliable and outstanding movers!

The guys who turned up to move my things were great, no problem there. They were actually early, which worked fine.
The job took slightly longer than anticipated, but I also had more things than I’d listed, so that was fine too.
The services by MWAV are quite significantly more expensive than competing removalists, which I was aware of, but I was still happy to pay for it because with a strong brand you usually receive a superior service and peace of mind if something goes wrong.
My stone coffee table broke in half. No biggie, accidents happen, but I’m now without a coffee table so it needs to be replaced.
The management must have changed because I actually used to work for these guys back in the day and I’ve sung their praises for years about how much of a great service they deliver and how well-run the organisation is.
The office contact, who I won’t name, told me that I should have disclosed the fact that the coffee table was stone, even though I wasn’t asked, because their policy doesn’t cover stone. He said he wasn’t willing to offer any discount for the table being broken. I paid $350 for the table second hand, it was a blue/grey marble top.
He said that I should have read their terms and conditions, which I wasn’t actually asked to read, and I didn’t sign. Then I got “you used to work for us, you must know our policy…” I worked there for 6 months, nearly 10 years ago.
He listened back to the original recording of the phone call from when I booked the move, and conceded that I wasn’t asked about the coffee table or explained the stone policy. But it’s still partially my fault, apparently, because I didn’t proactively say it. I also didn’t proactively mention any of the glass, TV, leather topped antique desk, or anything else delicate but that wasn’t an issue.
After plenty of haggling (on their end), an initial refusal, a $100 offer, a $300 offer, multiple requests for proof of my purchase price, a standoff over 3 or 4 phone calls, and an explanation on my end that I was the one holding the money, they agreed to pay for the table.
My issue isn’t with the actual moving service, nor is it with the fact that the table was damaged. My issue is with the customer-blaming attitude of the management, coupled with the point blank refusal to make things right, until it was pointed out that they had quite literally zero leverage in the situation.
At the $300 stage I even got the comment “are you really going to refuse to pay over $50?”. Back at you fellas, you’re a corporation trying to stitch up the little guy for something you should be fixing.
If you’d fixed the damage up front and owned the situation, I probably would have been far more willing to accept less for the table. I would have been leaving a positive review, continuing to speak positively about the business, and used the services again in the future. As it stands you’re now $350 down, have a negative review, lost a customer, and I’ve already mentioned this situation to two people within the first 2 hours. Was it worth it?
Anyway, it wasn’t about the money. I hope the boys enjoy their $50 tip.
